Patient Transportation
While MCDL does not have an organized Transportation Service, on occasions and when an urgent situation occurs, the Security Department, accompanied by a healthcare professional, may transport a patient via wheelchair to a department within the hospital. You may call Security directly at ext. 4800 or (972) 566-4800.
Wheelchairs are not routinely provided at the entrances to the various buildings. Therefore, we encourage the offices to provide them within their space should their type of practice routinely require them.
