International Calls
To dial an international number from a Medical City phone line, dial:
9 + 011 + country code (of country calling) + city code (of country calling) + phone number
Example:
The country code for Mexico is 52. You would dial:
9 011 52 + city code + phone number
Note:
- Some phone numbers are only 5 or 6 digits -- the U.S. uses 7 digits.
- When making an international call from Medical City, you do not dial a “1” after the “9” (for an outside line). However, some countries do require dialing “1” after the country code when the call is going to a cell phone.
