Elevator Malfunction
In the event of an elevator malfunction:
- Press the call button or pick up the handset located on the operator panel of the cab. This will automatically dial the Security Dispatcher.
- In some instances, it might be necessary to push the “Emergency Stop” button. Doing so will sound an alarm. To silence the alarm, pull out the red “Stop” button.
- Remain Calm. Security will stay in communication as needed until the problem is resolved.
- Do not try to force the elevator door open.
Provide your name, location including which building or garage you are in, cab number (located in the cab), and floor level if possible.
